Hello friends! Happy Friday! How are you? I hope you enjoyed the week. I feel like it was our first *real* week back in the world. I started returning to training, the girls went back to school and we were able to celebrate my birthday with the family.
I just wanted to meet for lunch, so we had a delicious brunch at First Watch with our small group of 15 people 🙂
We had the BEST Gluten Free Funfetti Cake from Lovin’ Spoonfuls with Buttercream Frosting:
(fun scoop: I went to high school with her baker and we ordered her cake every year. I look forward to it all year too! My favorite cake in the world.)
And the rest of the day was perfect and discreet. I read a book, we had dinner prepared by Pilot here at home and I saw Home alone. The rest of the week has flown by and I’m looking forward to the weekend!
Liv has a birthday party and one of her friends is staying over, I’ll get a much-needed mani pedi, we’ll go out to dinner and decorate for Christmas. Since we’re traveling next week, my favorite grinch gave the green light to decorate early. He is normally the captain of the “Honor the Bird” team, but this year he will make an exception.
Flashback to our huge tree! Frida is too big to move now. 😉

I started fourth wing to see if it lives up to the hype, and while fantasy isn’t generally my favorite genre, I’m completely sucked in. The writing is great and it’s super intense so far! The only problem is that I read it before going to bed and I have strange dreams about dragons lol.

I have to admit that Nap Dresses 100% lives up to its reputation. (They’re 30% off right now!) It’s super flattering and comfortable and now I want all the colors. (I’m trying to decide if I like this style or the Somersault further)
Dressed this slip dress this week with a cardigan and low-top sneakers with GG. The quality is excellent and they have many colors.
