Friday Faves 12.22 – The Fitnessista

Hello friends! Happy and joyful weekend to you. What are you doing? We’re baking cookies, cleaning, and finishing up the last few holiday tasks. I’m also preparing something fun for January; I’ll have it here on the blog next week.

We had a loss in our family this week, so Christmas will be a little different from our usual routine. I’m definitely looking forward to going to mass with the family, spending time together and watching the kids open their gifts. I may share more later, but my heart hurts right now.

Friday’s Favorites 12.22

A summary of the week + some favorites:

A trip to the Fairmont Princess in Scottsdale. This has become an annual tradition and is something we all look forward to. They turn the resort into a winter wonderland, with tons of Christmas light displays, Santa Claus, ice skating, s’more pits, and attractions. The children always have a great time. This year we went with a group of friends and it was even more fun!

Some photos from the trip:

We also finish it with The Nutcracker in Phoenix through Ballet Arizona. The production quality was incredible, the costumes were awesome, and the rats were out there doing THE BEST. We all loved it.

New Year Planning:

Erin Condren Planner. This is the planner I’ve used for many years and it has *mostly* helped me keep my life on track. I have always preferred paper planners to digital ones and I love the design of this one. My Referral link It also offers you a discount!

we are doing another detox round starting January 8. If you know you’re in, you can order your kit here and use FITNESSISTA10 with a 10% discount. I have done the 7 day version and the 21 day version. This time, I’m going for the 14 day detox. After ordering, email me so I can add you to the detox list to receive daily emails. Someone has seen Wonka? We’re leaving next week!

Wishing Teacher on Netflix tonight.

Fitness, health and good nutrition:

Vegetables easy to organize! I was so excited when they launched a green juice for boys and instantly ordered it for girls. P tried it this morning (Liv was still sleeping) and said it was “fresh and good” and much better than the adult version lol. (Turns out I love the taste of the adult version, and she still takes sips here and there.) It’s a great way to add additional nutrients, fiber, and probiotics to your diet. You can consult here and at this link. automatically apply my code FITNESSISTA for 20% off.

I just ate a shilajit gummy and it was DELICIOUS. I’ll definitely report back after I’ve tried it for a few weeks.

I hope you have a lovely weekend and see you soon!
