Autism Dating Show Set To Return

A second season of “Love on the Spectrum US” will be available on Netflix starting Friday. (Netflix)

An Emmy-winning documentary series that follows the dating experiences of several people with autism across the country is back with a new season.

Netflix said it will premiere the second season of the series “Love on the Spectrum US” on Friday.

The show, which premiered in 2022, is an American version of the Australian series “Love on the Spectrum.”

“In its second season, this American series tells the stories of a unique and diverse cast of characters, including new romantic hopefuls and familiar faces, who search for something we all hope to find: love,” Netflix said.

Over the course of seven episodes, the series will follow both first-time daters and experienced daters, the streaming service said.

“Love on the Spectrum US” won three 2022 Emmy Awards, one for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program, as well as awards for Outstanding Picture Editing for an Unstructured Reality Program and Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program.

The Australian version of “Love on the Spectrum” also aired two seasons on Netflix.
