Here’s an update on life lately!

life lately

Me: I’m going to do more lifestyle posts!
Me too: I still have to do a lately publish in 2024

Between the holidays, snow days, trip to Mexico, and generally never having enough time, I haven’t been blogging as regularly as I’d hoped! It’s a cross between not feeling like I have tons to say/write/share and not making these posts a priority. I hope to do better because they are fun and easy to write.

This is what we’ve been busy with!

Snow storms

Minus a few days of school for a light snow storm! Last year it didn’t snow at all, so everyone was very excited. We got to use the sleds the kids gave for Christmas last year and tried out the neighbors tubing!

You know what’s really nice after a morning of sledding? A sauna blanket!! Preheat for 5 minutes and get in with your clothes on!

Other cozy things:

I came out of the shower to find Birch reading in our bed! ha ha ha! He sure felt at home.

Puzzle season

Puzzle season is in full swing! This was amazing – Mazen gave it to us for Christmas.

Caramelized granola

Birch and I made it together and then had yogurt bowls for lunch!

Painting activity!

Game date

Invite one of your good friends from school – they loved to play!

Taylor Swift concert screening

Some friends piled on the couch for a cozy night in watching Taylor Swift in concert. I thought they would want to talk the whole time, but everyone was so interested in the concert (including the guys!).
