WW Turkey Chili

WW Turkey Chili is for all of us looking for tasty food that will keep us healthy.

I’m a fan of chili con carne. Check out Lighter Chili with Cocoa Powder and Vegetarian Chili, Best Vegetarian Chili.

This chili is between both recipes. Because? Ground beef has a very strong flavor, so it’s easy to make any dish you use it in taste really good. Vegetables, on the other hand, need a little cooking to acquire their flavors.

Ground turkey breast is not the tastiest meat probably because it has no fat. We’ve all had dry turkey breast (yuck!).

You can find ground turkey breast in the poultry section of your supermarket. It costs about $6 or more per pound (not cheap).

Because it’s mild, you have to add a little more interesting flavors to make it work, but trust me, it works.

I added onion, garlic, red pepper, tomato paste, cumin, and high-quality chili powder to make it a chili my family would love. They know when I try to give them something healthier and they didn’t realize I had made meatless chili when I served them this.

This recipe is still pretty easy and quick for a weeknight meal. I eat it for breakfast with scrambled eggs, some rice and hot sauce. Hmm!

This recipe would have ZERO points if I hadn’t added the olive oil at the beginning of the recipe. I think a little fat goes a long way toward turning the onions, garlic, and red pepper into a delicious base for chili.

You have a point and I can see this would be one of my favorite recipes if it were on the WW show. It’s healthy, quite economical (per serving) and tasty.

Have you made WW turkey chili? What you did put?
