5 casual everyday mom uniforms

Hello friends! How is your day? I hope you are having a wonderful morning. Last night I went to a super fun event at Creative Tribe with some friends. We learned about tarot cards (don’t worry, I’m not changing my online business lol) and embroidered a tote bag with tarot cards. Creative Tribe has many unique craft events and is BYOB, so you can drink wine in a Yeti glass. Not a bad way to spend the night.

Casual uniforms for mom every day

For today’s post, I thought I’d share some of the casual mom uniforms I’ve been wearing lately. I love getting outfit ideas from my friends, especially the kind of outfits I can wear every day and look *matched* for all the things I do during the day: chasing girls, working, running errands, playing dolls on the street. life. bedroom floor or kick a soccer ball outside with the kids. I would love to live in lulu 100% of the time, but I find that I feel better and am more productive when I take a little time to get dressed in non-athletic clothes. (This post totally includes a workout outfit because #reallife)

1) Everlane Button Down Shirt with jean shorts and a headband scarf

I got this idea from the headband Chain and it’s a fun, modern detail and a way to hide the fact that my hair needs a wash. This shirt was the first time I ordered Everlane and I will definitely try more of their pieces. (I wasn’t sure about the size and I’m usually between a 2 and a 4 for blouses. I ordered a 2 and it worked perfectly. I might try a 4 if it’s something that fits me tighter) It’s the perfect everyday white shirt: light, not too transparent and washes well. These denim shorts are super comfortable and easy to incorporate into different cute mom outfits.

2) Express black romper with embellished sandals (<—The black is gone, but the blush is only $40!)

Romper

this romper It made me understand how easy it is to wear black all the time. Before, I could never understand why people had all-black closets and now I totally understand. Simple, elegant, versatile, boom. Plus, you can easily throw on a denim jacket if you need an extra layer. These sandals they’re my favorites. They go with a lot of things and I always get compliments on them. If you are looking for simpler casual outfits, I recommend this one.

3) rails dress with low sneakers (<— part of the anniversary sale! They’re down from $130 to $85 and public access starts tomorrow)

Rails dress

This is my favorite dress right now! He arrived in a recent shipment from Trunk Club and, although it was a little pricey, I’ve already used it a lot. (Please note that it runs a little large, so if you are between sizes, size down.)

4) lululemon shorts with a v-neck t-shirt and APL sneaks in

life of lulú

I needed a new pair of lulu shorts because… my butt has grown haha. Then I found these the florals And I really like the print.

5) athlete shorts and tank with embellished sandals

(These They are in the graph above since the ones I usually use are sold out in black)

It was my first time trying Athleta’s non-athletic clothing and I’m a big fan. The fabric is light and breathable (a must for the Tucson summer) and flattering. I heard her jeans are a dream too.

6) T-shirt and jean shorts with sneakers

This is another of my favorite outfit ideas for mom. It is similar to the first outfit, but even more informal. For this look, I simply grab a printed t-shirt or striped t-shirt, a pair of versatile denim shorts, and a pair of white sneakers. This simple yet modern ensemble is what mom style is all about.

7) Dress shirt with sandals

A classic shirt dress is another great option for moms. Whether you’re running errands, handing out snacks at soccer practice, or trying to grab a quick dinner, this dress makes it easy to look chic and stylish.

I also feel like I’m in an awkward phase of life fashion-wise. Very often I find that the styles are too young or too mature. I need something between a mumu and a crop top with a high-waisted skirt (<— super cute, but would definitely turn heads when he was dropped off at preschool).

Where do you get your everyday clothes? What is your favorite place to shop? Lately I’ve been asking for everything Nordstrom for the most part, simply because they have so many different things and an amazing return policy. I’m also a big fan of trunk club; Many of the sets above came from those shipments. If you have any favorite stores or online resources for everyday clothing, let me know!

(Also, do you like these types of posts or not?)

I hope you have a wonderful day and I’ll see you in the morning!
