I have old hands. The palms are very wrinkled (whatever amount of wrinkles you imagine, triple it). The back is veiny and bony, and the skin is a little sallow. This is something I’m not afraid to admit and happily show to my friends with a laugh: “Have I shown you my old hands?” I laugh when someone asks me to be the hand model for a photo, post or something. At first, people try to be nice with their response, but once I assure them that I’m really aware of (and okay with!) their appearance, most people agree with me: Wow, they really are wrinkled.
