Spain Summer Packing list – The Fitnessista

I’m sharing a packing list for Spain and all the things I packed for our trip!

Hi friends! I hope you’re all having a wonderful week so far. The kids and I are off to a base event and I’m looking forward to a hot yoga class later today.

Next week I’ll share a full recap of our amazing trip to Spain, but in the meantime, I wanted to share a packing list with some of the things I brought!

Packing list for summer in Spain

Carry on the way there and back:

(I did a couple loads of laundry while we were at the Airbnb)

Spanx Air Essential Set. I always get cold on planes and this keeps me warm and comfortable enough to sleep in.

Dresses:

My goal with travel dresses is to bring short dresses that I can wear with sneakers during the day and swap out for dressy sandals for dinner at night. I also brought a couple of dresses just for dinner. I found the vibe there to be pretty casual and anything goes (except workout clothes. Don’t do that, lol). Skirts, shorts, dresses, sandals, and sneakers all worked.

Evening dresses:

This floral mini dress (so pretty with the white Vejas)

High Neck Mini Travel Dress

A short sleeve collared mini shirt dress from Maeve (sold out at the moment and I can’t find anything similar)

Hutch Mini Shirt Dress (reduce size)

Rails striped dress

Ulla Johnson dress

Derek Lam puff sleeve dress

An old short floral dress from Madewell

Dinner Dresses:

Farm Rio Ocean Tapestry Dress. So cute, true to size and on sale right now.

Farm Rio embroidered dress. The details are exquisite. It was a luxury, but I’ve used it so many times. This one is also on sale right now!

Long crochet style dress

This red dress from RTR which was perfect for the flamenco night 😉

Tops, skirts and shorts:

This skirt pants with This monkey

I also brought a couple of Jean shorts with a Embroidered top but I didn’t use it

Training equipment:

I knew I probably wouldn’t be able to do official workouts, but I brought some leggings and sports bras just in case I could. Sculpture society on Airbnb while we were hanging out, as well as some shorts and a tank top for paddle boarding.

Vuori Tank and Bermuda shorts (2 games)

1 pair of lulu leggings and a Align the tank

Swim:

I brought my vuori’s favorite bikini and took it with him Jean shortsthis cover upand This visor

Shoes:

Veja low sneakers

Valentino sandals

Vivobarefoots (in case I could exercise, they actually stayed in my suitcase)

Brown flat sandals

Additional features:

Our suitcases deserve a special mention because we love them. They are not expensive, they are huge and of excellent quality. We got three of these from Nordstrom Rack.

Bags: I brought my Gucci camera bag, a leather shoulder bag I bought in Italy last summer and ordered this. A really cheap one from Amazon for a night out. I was super impressed with the quality!

This travel pillow! I’m a side sleeper so this was literally a dream come true for the plane.

Melatonin. I tried some melatonin before our trip to see if it would help me sleep on the plane. I’m usually overly anxious and toss and turn. I passed out. That was it! Obviously, talk to your doctor before taking new supplements, but this is the first time I haven’t had jetlag; it helped reset my circadian rhythm. You can use FITNESSISTA10 here.

Toiletries, especially my Oliveda face cream, Eye care products, Tinted FPS, and makeup

I have another post planned soon with weird things I wear on vacation 😉

Also, it’s worth mentioning that Rent the Runway is worth the trip. I love using it to try out new brands (I often end up buying the things I love) and I feel like it’s a sustainable way to rotate a lot of clothes. You can use my referral link to get 30% off your first month.

Have a wonderful day and see you soon!

hugs and kisses
