Maxvan Pathway is a Roomier Accessible Campervan

The Maxvan Pathway features a rear ramp instead of a lift. The ramp is raised flush with the rest of the floor when not in use.

Adaptive Mobility Systems has introduced the Maxvan Pathway RV, an accessible recreational vehicle for the adventurous wheelchair user.

The Maxvan Pathway RV is built on the Dodge Ram ProMaster 3500 pickup truck chassis and comes standard with several accessibility features for wheelchair users. The Pathway features a manually-folding, power-operated hybrid rear entry ramp. When not in use, the power portion of the ramp is raised to the interior floor level. The Pathway’s wheelchair securement devices are located in the middle of the vehicle. For those who prefer to transfer to a seat, the passenger seat rotates 180 degrees for easy transfers.

Pathway RV’s enhanced accessibility options include an available overhead rail system for use of a portable lift. The rail system provides bathroom access and can be adjusted to access the bed and passenger seat. Maxvan enlarged one side of the ProMaster chassis, allowing for a 40-inch aisle that should allow most wheelchair users to turn around while inside the van. Pathway was primarily designed for able-bodied drivers, but an optional interior ramp is available for users who wish to remain in their wheelchairs but sit in the front passenger area.

The Pathway RV is also equipped with a pull-out couch that converts into a bed, a cassette-style bathroom with toilet and shower, a refrigerator, sink, stovetop, and an electric generator.

The base price of the Maxvan Pathway motorhome is $119,800. For more information, visit Maxvan.com.
